Blue Goose Trip

I am not sure.. but it is worth it to walk past and see of they are soft opening..

WISHES.. I wanna see WISHES>> do they still pipe in the music into the POLY?? Can I sit on the bach and watch WISHES and hear the music?? I think I'll buy the CD and my kids can give it to me ..

Juist back from our first college visit.. it went well..

I love Wishes, it is my favorite.:thumbsup2

No idea about the Poly though, sorry.

I agree. And, I admit, I WILL ride It's a Small World at least once. And I like to eat lunch at Pinochio's above the ride and sit by the windows, - on our last trip we had the kids sit there and wave at the people starting out in the boats. Amazing how many people wave back. My kids found that quite amusing - we actually tracked how many people waved during our last trip - it was in the 100s, during our lunch :lmao: Hey, it kept the kids amused. :lmao:

I will definitely ride It's a Small World at least once. It was my Grandma's favorite ride and song and riding it makes me think of her. So if I tear up while riding, now you all know why. She died two years ago, about a week and a half before we were to head off to WDW. We went but when we went on IASW I lost it. I'm sure the people riding with us thought I'd lost it :rolleyes1

Oh, and my kids enjoy waving at people from Pinocchio's as well.

Who's in college? Your kiddos? Glad it went well in any case. :)

My oldest son is a JR in High school so we are starting looking at colleges..

Morning..

ZPT1022 sorry about losing your Dad so young.. but the walk seems like a great way to honor his memory. Gld it when well..

I can't speak for Teresa, but I was busy yesterday. Ryan and I and the twins (Kayleigh had Nutcracker rehearsals) did Lympomathon- it's a 5K walk to raise money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation. My Dad died from non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 1992. On September 19 of this year we marked the 15th anniversary of his death, so it was an extra important year for us. My mom and Uncle Craig met us down at the beach where it was and we all walked together. It was a nice event and not as bad of a walk as I had worried that it might be. I still don't know how Kelli does the Breast Cancer one- 60 miles in three days :worship:

Awww sorry about your Dad passing away so young

23 days sounds great!

I have posted elsewhere that I will be happy to put together a list of cell phone numbers. So, If anyone would like to PM their # and travel dates I will include them on the list. I will not likely have access to a PC after 10/26, so I am going to finalize the list on 10/25. I'll PM or email to everyone on the list that day.

It's nice you have something that brings back special memories of her, and I'm sure no one will mind if you get a little teary eyed.

Really, that's cool. How old is he? My son is 12, 13 in December, and he's in 7th grade. I'd can't even imagine thinking about college for him yet! OR I should say the bills that come with college. LOL

Good morning everyone!! Wow, it's getting closer and closer!! :cool1:

My oldest son is a JR in High school so we are starting looking at colleges..

My DS is a senior this year. We are finished with all the hoops for two college apps, on early action, officially tonight! He has his interview with MIT tonight at 7:30. His other choice is Univ. of Michigan. If he gets in to one of these schools, we are all set. If he doesn't, he will do more apps over Christmas break in time for regular decision deadlines in January.

As you start to look, watch for the online application info - most apps come online in August. And some schools release the essay questions in July, or with the apps in August. Get 'em in early! :thumbsup2 Watch out for early action vs. early decision, too.
