Blue Goose Trip

I want to buy either a disney hoodie or a disney zippered jacket this trip :goodvibes

Funny you mention that - many years ago I bought an embroidered fleece hoodie at AK, and have worn it hard. It has lasted so well and is one of my favorite sweatshirts. It could probably use replacing but I didn't see any like it back in 2005. So I'll look again this trip.

Never been to wdw in Nov. Guess I'll have to pack for all weathers...shorts, capris, one pair of jeans, tshirts, long sleeve tshirts, hoodies ;)

hoodie and jeans for the way doen and home at least ;) Pittsburgh will probably be cold :)

go to AK since it is extra magic hour , fast pass Kilaminjo safari and ride Everest a few times. and check the times for Nemo.. where shall I eat??? Wonder if Yak and Yeti will be open???

I called the other day and they are not accepting reservations for Y & Y yet. Then I read on another thread that they don't plan to open until mid November.

Im really excited to see everyone again. I'm also excited to meet Christine, Becky & Teresa. :woohoo:

Thanks, Wendy. Are you curious to see if I am a wacko in real life too? :rotfl:

I am looking forward to meeting all of you, too. And speaking of Becky and Teresa, where have they gotten to this weekend. I have not seen them around.

Should I consider that a warning? :rolleyes1

I have been busy. We did the apple thing yesterday and today I am about to get kicked off the puter for FOOTBALL.. Joys of having a dh in fantasy leagues... :lmao: I can't wait to meet you guys too....

UM don't you think we all have to be wacked to worship a blue goose? :rolleyes1

 Is everyone packed already?? :rolleyes1

 No!!!
Some of us are still packing the morning of the trip....

I hope to not be quite that bad, but if past history is any indication :rolleyes1

I have started picking stuff up here and there though- an extra toiletry or two to pack while I'm at Target anyway, then when it is time to actually pack I don't have to go out and buy everything.

OK, so what's the SECOND thing you are going to do? :lmao:

I can't decide!! Definitely to a park to turn in my one day ticket for an AP. Can't decide if it will be Epcot to check out some Food & Wine Fest stuff, or to MK to see all the decorations. Gosh, I really don't know. I'm not used to having so much freedom!

I can't speak for Teresa, but I was busy yesterday. Ryan and I and the twins (Kayleigh had Nutcracker rehearsals) did Lympomathon- it's a 5K walk to raise money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation. My Dad died from non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 1992. On September 19 of this year we marked the 15th anniversary of his death, so it was an extra important year for us. My mom and Uncle Craig met us down at the beach where it was and we all walked together. It was a nice event and not as bad of a walk as I had worried that it might be. I still don't know how Kelli does the Breast Cancer one- 60 miles in three days :worship:

26 days - that will be here before we know it!

What is the first thing you are going to do when you arrive?

I plan on going to the MK at first, that is my favorite place!

Me too !! I feel like a little kid when I walk down Main Street :goodvibes
oh wait, I always feel like a little kid

I agree. And, I admit, I WILL ride It's a Small World at least once. And I like to eat lunch at Pinochio's above the ride and sit by the windows, - on our last trip we had the kids sit there and wave at the people starting out in the boats. Amazing how many people wave back. My kids found that quite amusing - we actually tracked how many people waved during our last trip - it was in the 100s, during our lunch :lmao: Hey, it kept the kids amused. :lmao:

Oh Becky, I'm sorry about your dad but that sounds like a really nice way to spend the day and mark the anniversary, all the while helping a good cause.
