Hiya,

My DH & I are celebrating our 5th anniversary with a trip to DL. We have decided to go to Blue Bayou on our actual anniversary for dinner. My question is....how long does dinner take there? The park is closing at 7pm that day and we want to make sure that we have enough time to have dinner & than do a few more things before having to leave.

Thanks :)

I've only been to DLR once and didn't dine at Blue Bayou, so I don't have an answer to your question. That said, although this is the "Restaurants" forum, questions here are more focused on dining at WDW, not DLR. Although someone reading this board may have an answer to your question, you're more likely to get a response on the "Disneyland" forum.http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=26

We just ate at Blue Bayou twice last week. I don't think we were there for more than an hour each time. Everything came out fairly quickly, but not in a way that made us feel rushed. Although...we chose to have lunch at 11:30, so we were one of the first tables of the day to be served. I'm not sure if that made a difference in efficiency.

The 11:30 reservations get first priority at waterside tables, so that's what convinced us to have lunch rather than dinner (and we liked the lunch menu a bit more). On our first day I had the monte cristo sandwich. It was really good, but rather heavy and I couldn't eat it all. The second time, we both got the flat iron steak. It was delicious! Also, I loved the salad and my DH loved the gumbo. We loved everything about eating there.

On TripAdvisor, Blue Bayou is ranked #27 out of over 700 Anaheim restaurants. I suspect you'll have a very nice meal.

I second this. There will be a lot more answers for you over there :thumbsup2

We've dined here twice, there's a longer wait if you want a waterside table, which is worth it, however it's still great ambiance at any table.

I didn't feel that we were in there any longer, or shorter than at any other restaurant we've dined at, however I've never timed it.
