Lots of questions today, lol. DH wants a nice sit down dinner, just the two of us. I've read lots of great things about the Blue Bayou, so I think that's where we will go. DH wants to head back to our hotel room/motorhome (we haven't entirely decided which one we'll be staying in) and change our clothes to something nicer than the jeans/t shirts we will most likely be wearing. What does your average BB (is this the right acronym?) patron wear? Also, is there a menu I can find somewhere? I have several dietary restrictions, and I want to be sure there is something I can eat, and would enjoy eating. Oh, one more question, what are prices like for dinner?

hi , jeans and tshirts are fine for Blue Bayou. you can find the menu right on this Dis website. look at the green bar and click on dining. As well the menu is on the Disneyland.go website.

The only restaurant in the park with a dress code is Club 33. Almost everyone in BB will be in their park attire, so it really isn't necessary to change clothes. That said however, if you are staying close to the park and want to get changed, you certainly won't feel out of place a little more dressed up! It really is a lovely restaurant, and the atmosphere is just fantastic. I like to use AllEars for menus, and I also use yelp to see pictures of the food so I know what I'm getting into. (I'm a vegetarian, so I guess some might say I'm kind of picky) Also, make note of your dietary restrictions when you make your reservation! Disneyland is great about working with people with dietary needs, I would just suggest calling instead of emailing so you can speak with someone directly about what they can help you with.

This might not be a popular view, but I wasn't terribly impressed with BB. While it's cool to eat inside a ride, the food wasn't very good and it was quite noisy. Our favorite "grown-up" meal was at Carthay Theater Restaurant. It was quieter, elegant, and felt less rushed.

The last few times we went to DL, we did not eat at BB. The food is OK, but we felt rushed to eat and get out so the next group could get in.
Maybe things have changed.
If I wanted to have a quiet, leisurely dinner with my husband, I would choose another restaurant. I've never been to the Napa Rose, but I hear it's lovely.

It depends what you want for a date night I guess. We go to BB everything trip, but while we're in the park, with our kids. We love the atmosphere and the food is good. For a special night out we would do Carthay Circle or Napa Rose, or maybe Steakhouse 52. They are just a bit more upscale IMO. Depends on your style and what you are looking to try.

I really enjoy dining at BB but no need to change or dress up (unless you want to). There is no dress code at BB so if your are comfortable in shorts and tshirt you will be fine. As the previous poster suggested you might also want to consider Carthay Cirle or Napa Rose. I also enjoy dining at Storytellers as well.

I wouldn't waste your time changing it's dark in side so nobody will know your dressed up LOL But seriously we went in May and everyone was wearing jeans tees. My boys who were 9 and 10 at the time wore basketball shorts and tees with sneakers.
