Tell me about the Blue Bayou, Would you recommend this restaurant for 2 adults? Any tips or suggestions?
Or is there another restaurant that would be worth trying out?
I've been there once and really liked it. Great atmosphere.

The atmosphere is awesome there, and it's fun to eat "outside, at night, in the bayou" when you're really inside during the day in LA!
I just wanted to add, that for as long as your children know their manners, as I am sure that they do, there should be no problem whatsoever.
Matter of fact, sometimes in general, it is the adult, that needs a time out more often in comparison to many children that I have seen over the years in our society.
Ask for a water side table, that is especially nice. The little guy, I think will have fun there even more so, for it it easier to see everything that there is.
One might even be able to point out the fireflies at the bayou.![]()

If you do go to BB, order safe. Monte Cristo, shortribs, prime rib. Avoid the mahi mahi at all cost. It was described as being on a bed of spinach. Instead of nice warm spinach, it was served on cold pieces of torn up romaine lettuce. The mahi mahi itself was dry and fishy tasting. It did come with two shrimp that were tasty. Honestly, I don't know why they just didn't do the shrimp as a dish and avoid the rest of it.
My recommendation if the food is important to you is to save your money and eat elsewhere.

We both LOVE the wedge salad (without sausage),
