Blue Bayou... Worth it?

We love BB! While we try to go each visit, I would highly recommend it for anyone, at least for a once in a lifetime experience.

I get the Gumbo, and the Jambalaya....very spice!

I eat Blue Bayou every trip. But I always make reservations way in advance, so we don't have to wait that long.

Yes, to arrive for your p.s. @20 minutes early is a good idea, if you are interested in being seated by the waterside.
I have always enjoyed my meal there. As stated in my above post.

I love BB! For us, it's a MUST on every visit...but more for the atmosphere than anything else. The food was good (but not fantastic)...and my husband and I both love the Gumbo. A water-side view is a must. It wouldn't really be worth going if you don't have a water-side table, so it's worth the wait. Plus the wait is never as long as they quote you.

Regarding the quoted wait I agree with the pp. I so far, have been seated either early, or if anything right on time. Normally early.
