This is getting needlessly complex. Waterside at Blue Bayou works like this:

1. Tell the reservation CM you want to request waterside. They will note it.

2. Arrive 20 minutes early and tell the host you requested and want to wait for waterside. They'll see the note and tell you how long you'll have to wait.

That's it.

Mike, sorry I do not think that "is it" at all. Have you tried this recently? I have. It used to work to tell the reservations CM your request. Now they tell you they do not take such requests anymore.

Your Part 2 still works for me, especially if I have an 11:30 lunch res which is what I always get.

Was just going to say they're no longer taking water side table requests on the phone but was told you can put the request at check in and if there is a table they will seat you or tell you a wait time. First come first serve type of deal.
