Blue Bayou vs. San Angel Inn at Epcot

This is a tough one for me. San Angel has great ambience, unless your near the wall or waiter entrance. That was where we were and the ambience sucked. .

We got the table back in the corner by the bathroom once, which I think is close to where you are talking about. You are so right, no ambiance. You can't even see the water or the market area from there! Good thing our food was really good that night. We have had inconsistent food there. Many times it is great, but we have also had the occasional bland or not so great meal too. At least that is only about half the price of my bad steak night at BB!

OP, thank you for asking this question. I was wondering the same thing myself.

I having been trying to decide if the scary prices at BB are made up for by the ambience, but hearing that some people preferred SAI, I think I will give BB a miss. We sat waterside at SAI and thought the ambience was nice, but not 'I need to go back in a hurry' nice. I actually preferred the atmosphere at Biergarten.

Has anyone been to both? We are debating whether to try BB when we visit DL for the first time. It seems pretty pricey and looks like the same food is available at Cafe Orleans. We've done San Angel a few times for the atmosphere. Is Blue Bayou pretty similar?

I've been to both and Blue Bayou is by far my favorite!!!! I love the atmosphere at Blue Bayou, being by Pirates is awesome! The food is much better too!
