Blue Bayou/Pirates window ?

I think seeing something unusual would be quite neat...not embarrassing! I will def keep an eye out for it later this month! :)

Thanks! After what the tour guide said about the park being haunted made me wish there was a tour specifically about whatever hauntings and ghosts there are in the park. I think that would be so cool at Halloween! :)

There are THOUSANDS of regular park-goers that will tell you that Disneyland is haunted with a variety of ghosts. There are stories of lore about a little boy in the Haunted Mansion. There are stories about 2 boys on the island. There are stories about the ghost of the CM who died who worked in Innoventions. And soooooo many more.

IDK if this will please your DH with confirmation or freak him out even more, but MANY MANY MANY people believe that there are many ghosts haunting the Happiest Place on Earth.

That is SOOO cool! I love a good ghost story! :scared1:

Yet another reason to ride Pirates as many times as possible.....;) You know, for fact-finding serious reasons....

OK, sorry! - I wasn't trying to be mean, cruel, or lame. :) I guess I didn't think I would get this sort of reaction. Sorry! :rolleyes1 I'll explain...When we went on the ride, we were looking to see if the one window's light was still blinking on and off (keep in mind that both other third floor windows on either side were completely dark.Everything on the second level looked normal.) The third floor middle light was blinking still and then all of the sudden DH jumped and asked did you see that? (three of us had turned away by that point) From what he saw, it appeared to be a head moving by in that one window. Head, no apparent body attached. My DH is very intelligent and not prone to necessarily believing in "ghost sightings." He was very sure of what he had seen though. I didn't mention what he saw in my first post because it sounds weird, freaky and somewhat embarrassing to me for whatever reason. That's the main reason I didn't mention it. Sorry if I angered or overexcited some of you!

Anyway, what makes it interesting is that when we went on the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour earlier the same day, the guide mentioned something about the park being fairly haunted but said she wouldn't give details. My DH didn't hear that part and we didn't mention it to him until later that night after we were done in the park for the day. So, it's not like he had the idea of ghosts or hauntings in the back of his mind.

Dismiss it all if you think it's crazy, I don't mind. I was just curious if perhaps someone else has ever had a similar experience or more specific info...

Thanks. :)

Cool! I will definitely keep an eye out for that......

It would be. There is a Halloween tour, but not that kind (unfortunately). The one they have is very fun, but not the same.

I was right! LOL. Actually I don't think it sounds crazy at all. I believe it could really happen, and how strange! But interesting. They should do a tour of famous "ghost sightings". I know it would scare kids, but maybe if they said it was an adults only tour? That would be interesting, and might be interesting enough for me to do it! But what a cool experience, no matter what it was. Certainly adds to the mystery and magic of the park! ;)

That is so cool! Closer to fall there was a thread about people attending Halloweentime and many people posted "ghost stories". Look for it if you want.
They have several adt only tours at WDW I dont see why they cant have them at DL!

When I was having dinner at BB last week it dawned on me looking at the plantation house facade inside, there were waiters going in and out of the 2nd floor doors and if I understand the layout of 33 correct (From pictures only of course), that could be where the 33 dining room is located. It would make sense to be physically connected to BB since that way you wouldn't have to double up certain restaurant nessesities. You could almost say then that 33 is more of a private extension of the BB.

They share a kitchen dont they? it would only make sense for them to be on top of one another.

Yes all of the New Orleans restaurants have a shared master kitchen which will soon be expanded into the CM eatery from what I hear.

Hmmm, I thought that they do NOT share a kitchen. I asked a Club 33 CM in passing near the NOS shops once. Maybe she told me wrong??

If they had a ghost sightings tour I would take it! I think it could be quite interesting :)

Ahhh a ghost sighting!!! Very cool!!! I grew up in a haunted house so that wouldn't freak me out at all...well not very much anyway. LOL :)

Could it have been the "control" room? I saw a picture relatively recently of that window, and it did look a bit creepy, but I have NO idea where it is in the ride. But a CM wearing black could look disturbing if seen from below.

I can also verify that they do not share a kitchen. I have been in the 33 kitchen and I have eaten in 33 before.

It's accessed up those back stairs that are in that little courtyard by the charicature artists. You can see the jazz musicians heading up there occasionally. The old back elevator that used to be the one they used to get wheelchair guests to the Gallery shop/balcony for the original version of the Fantasmic dessert buffet is next to the kitchen.
