Napa Rose is closed for a good part of September.
DH and I did CC last time we were there for our anniversary, with WOC after. I wasn't all that fond of it. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it just wasn't that special to me.
Really loved the ambience -- we're art deco fans and the art deco style there is beautiful. However, we didn't find the setting to be all that romantic for the simple reason that because it's still in the middle of a Disney park, there were people there with obviously overly tired kids who let them run amok, talk loudly enough to disturb others nearby, climb on the furniture, etc. It's like the parents decided because they were at DCA, bad behavior was ok. I don't mind so much at the more casual restaurants, but to me a nice restaurant is a nice restaurant and people should let their kids know they need to act accordingly. I have kids of my own, so it's not that I dislike kids, but sometimes they need to behave!!
The food was hit and miss. The service was friendly but totally inept. Our server knew nothing about food/wine pairings, was unable to answer questions on the menu, and it took FOREVER to get a drink.
If you do end up going, don't let them seat you in the side rooms. Those are not nearly as nice.
We did enjoy having a cocktail in the bar area before we went to dinner. The cocktails are great, the ambience is great, and there were no kids.
We're celebrating our anniversary again this year and I'm thinking of going to Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in DTD, or possibly elsewhere in DTD, then possibly going to CC just for a drink. Wanted to do Napa Rose, but they're closed.
I love BB too, but we always do it for lunch.
