I never took my toddlers to blue bayou because of comments people made that it was so expensive for how much food you got. I looked on allears and it’s just $10 for a kids meal, unless the price went up. Compared to the price, quantity and quality of counter service kids meals- I can actually feed my allergic kids all these items. We’re taking them next time! They do really well in restaurants.

I was so interested in the Blue Bayou, but looked at the menu and nothing looks too appetizing to us (besides the Monte Cristo...I will try that one of these days!!). I think it's too fancy-pants for us lol! If they had a salad or soup as an entree, I would be all over it! I want to try the restaurant for the ambiance, but just wish the menu selection was different.

That's wonderful that you were able to find something for kiddos with allergies. I know that can be a challenge!

We’ve had fish & steak. It’s not fancy pants at all. You should definitely try it! An actually relaxing atmosphere in the park.

Hmmm...that sounds good! The other issue is one of our party members has allergies to seafood and nuts, so their selection is a bit limited. Maybe we'll have to make a compromise so we can try it out, though! :)

I've taken my dd6 to BB a few times (between ages 2-4) with the Fantasmic dinner package and she did great and loved the food. Luckily, she's not picky and the ambience is able to keep her attention more than most other places we dine. Also, when in doubt, get the light up thingy in the drink, that keeps em busy for much longer than one would think :teeth:

We just ate there last night. We had the fantasmic package, however we had our 5 year old and 1 year old with us. The 5 year old we had to pay the fantasmic child price but for our 18 month old they just us order a regular kids meal. We really enjoyed our dinner and didn’t feel judged or out of place with the kids at all. Everyone had little kids with them.

Was it enough food for your 5 yo?

Why did you get food for the baby? Ours would have just eaten off our plate at that age. Barely eating LOL

Well she is a big eater and my husband and I didn’t want to share lol! I had ribeye and my husband had surf and turf. It was plenty for our 5 year old!
