Blue Bayou Gumbo?

Hi there,My DD and I are planning our first vist to DLR THIS July and want to have dinner at BB and wonder if someone can tell me what is in the Gumbo? Is it seafood or chicken? Never had gumbo before!

Chicken with andouille sausage I believe. It is very thick, like a stew and served with "dirty" rice. It is very filling!

Thanks very much! I heard it was very good but didnt want to try it if it had seafood in it. Unfortunately we dont like seafood, wish we did!

There's also a vegetarian version, at Royal Street Veranda, if you aren't in the mood for meat.

It does not have seafood, it's chicken and sausage as ArchOwl said. It is very good, the same Gumbo is also available at CO but it is not the same as the gumbo served at the CS place by PotC. Just so you know.

Now you know where to get it if you love it so much you want it again. We can't afford to do BB every time we go (because we go often lol) so if we are really wanting the Gumbo we drop by CO. Enjoy, it's very good!!

Nice! DBF doesn't eat meat. Do you have a list somewhere of your favorite veggie options at DLR?

Oh what a good idea!! Hadn't thought of that and we are planning the BB for our first day so now we can have it somwhere else! Thanks so much for suggesting
