Hi everyone,

God willing, I will be taking my husband out to eat for his birthday next April at Blue Bayou!

We'll be dining on a Tuesday night, and I assume Fantasmic will NOT be running that night?

Does anyone know what the last seating time is? Would that be a good time to go? We don't mind eating late, I'd actually prefer to be there at an off hour when it's potentially less crazy and we have a chance of sitting by the water.

We'll probably eat here once in our lifetimes, so a nice table is important.

What is a not miss on the menu? I love steak, not so crazy about seafood. I'll try to save room for dessert!

Would love to hear your feedback. TIA!

My DH and I had dinner last Saturday night there, I booked my reservation 2 days beforehand. We had are reservation for 9:10 and were seated at 9:20. Our table was by the water and I have to say their prime rib was one of the best I have ever had! The service was great, and the cookie boat was to die for. You should not have any problems in April. Have Fun!

Its a wonderful restaurant!:thumbsup2 A bit pricey but the atmosphere is fantastic! Enjoy!:goodvibes

Everything's pretty good there but my favorite is the creme brulee. Make your reservation as soon as you are able and check in right on time and ask to sit by the water, you MAY have to wait a bit longer for a table by the water but that's the greatest location IMO. Just a note though, there really aren't "off" times at Blue Bayou, they really do stayed booked up and with people waiting behind you with no reservations. Once you're seated it doesn't feel that way though, no worries there.

I have to second ShawnaF's recommendation for the creme brulee! My absolute favorite too! Their prime rib is good. And, of course, the Monte Cristo.

We had PS for Blue Bayou back in September. The park was pretty busy but we were seated waterside within 5 minutes. I think it helped that we checked in a few minutes ahead of our time. We have never had to wait as long as 30 minutes any time we have ever gone.
