Hello,

Going to Blue Bayou for lunch in less than 2 weeks.

There will be me, my 16 yrs old and my 6 years old. The 6 yrs old will take the kids menu. The 16 yrs old barely eats...

We want the Monte Cristo sandwich. The plates look huge. I was thinking of getting an appetizer for my daughter, and that we could share the sandwich.

However, the menu online doesn't see to have any appetizers.

Do you know if any are available?

Thank you.

Isabelle

No, but your meal comes with choice of salad or gumbo (and the Disney menu says you can upgrade to shrimp cocktail which wasn't a choice when I was there last.)

My daughter and I split a Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans. It was plenty for us, and we have fairly healthy appetites, so you probably won't need an appetizer. If you are still hungry, there's always dessert, or the churro cart.

As the PP said, there is not an appetizer menu because each entree comes with your choice of gumbo, salad, or shrimp cocktail (upcharge of $5.99). If you do opt to share a Monte Cristo with your daughter, make you specify whether you want to share or split. They do have a split plate charge of $12 (I think). Each person gets their own appetizer and sides. If opt to "share" then you only get on appetizer and the normal amount of sides. So, at the Blue Bayou it matter whether you want to split or share.

Figment, this is very good. I'll see what she says, but the split plate might be the compromise. The sides are the fruit skewers with the monte cristo?
