Blue Bayou and the Angels

Going on 1st trip to DL this July/August and just have a few queries.

1) We want to make a reservation at the Blue Bayou before we travel as I have heard it can get quite busy at that time of year. Can we call and make a reservation from the UK in advance, if so does anyone have the number and dialling codes I would need?

2) We are planning on watching the Angels against the Rangers on the 27th July. Will we need to book tickets in advance (how does this work? Will they send the tickets to the UK or do you pick up at ground?) Or can we just buy on the night?

3) We are going to spend 1 day at Magic Mountain but don't fancy the extremely long queues. I have heard you can buy like a fastpass ticket that is good for 4 rides for around $20. How many do they allocate on any given day and how early would you reccommend turning up before park opening at 10am to buy one/two of these?

Thanks to anyone that can help!:wave2:

<font color=navy>Hi Barry,

Let me know when you'd like to go to the Blue Bayou, & whether lunch or dinner, and I'll be happy to make the PS's for you - the call is much easier for me than you. However, if you'd like to call directly, their number is 714-781-3463.

If you purchase Angel tickets through Walt Disney Travel Company, you could pick them up from the office.

The stadium doesn't usually sell out, so you could even get tickets once you arrive, or you can print them out (I don't know if this service works internationally) Angel Tickets

Magic Mountain Fastlane Passes:

http://www.sixflags.com/parks/magicmountain/index.asp

Fast Lane passes can be purchased for $17* at the ticket booths, the Fast Lane booth (behind Guest Relations in Six Flags Plaza) or at the Guest Necessities Center.

A limited number of Fast Lane passes are available for purchase each operating day. The passes will be available only while supplies last and are valid only on the day of purchase. We recommend that you arrive early if you plan to purchase Fast Lane passes.

The rides available for Fast Lane vary from day-to-day (please check with the host/hostess at the Fast Lane booth for a list of specific rides available for Fast Lane that day).

Each FAST LANE pass is good for four priority boarding opportunities: 1 person x 4 rides, 2 people x 2 rides, 4 people x 1 ride ... it's your choice!

The FAST LANE program does not require any sort of reservation or pre-determined arrival time. Simply choose your ride and follow the FAST LANE direction.

I imagine they won't sell out a Tuesday night game against the Rangers, so you can certainly get tickets that night. You can also buy tickets via the Angels web site - http://www.angelsbaseball.com - and arrange to pick them up at the Will Call window.

I assume those Magic Mountain FastLane passes are in addition to regular park admission - right?

They are--I know people with season passes and they still buy the fastlane passes each time the go.

Thanks for information. That would be great Mary Jo if you could make a reservation for us at the Blue Bayou, much appreciated. We would like to go on Friday 30th July for dinner, around 7-8pm and there will be 2 adults. Not sure if this is needed but non-smoking preferrably. I imagine you will need my name for the res - Mr Barry Jesson. Thanks ever so much, you are a star!pirate:

Don't worry about non-smoking, all of DL/DCA is non-smoking except a few out of the way outdoor areas.
