BLT with little kids jan 13-18th

Hi, staying in standard studio at BLT and wondering which is best location to ask for room in terms of walking distance etc?

Kids are 5 and 3 yo.....DH also ( family of 4)

We will have stroller but never been to BLT and not sure if all rooms are close or some are far away (ie, AK lodge). I'll plan to request view of MK and fireworks however I don't want to shoot my foot off and walk for miles either. Isn't BLT much smaller and not a large resort? Which location, floor is it best to be near? Elevators? Walkway? Any view or place that is a bad idea?? Thank you!

BLT is no where near the sprawl of AKV. I don't know if you can request a MK view, but most ask for odd or even numbered rooms, can't remember which is which. The sv rooms will be lower level if facing MK.

If you're worried about the walk from the room, you may want to consider the walk to MK. It's a pain to go through the parking lot, then an intersection, pass the buses... You may want to request close to the sky bridge, which takes you to CR and the monorail.

We had a standard view studio in Sept and view was awesome! I think we were on the 4th floor. Ask for outside of the C. I don't remember if it was even or odd. We could see the fireworks from our balcony. World of caution is that they are loud so if you little ones go to bed early they will probably be woken up. Walking to CR via the sky ridge wasn't bad at all. Walk to MK was nice and took probably 10-15min pushing a stroller.

BLT is much smaller than BWV as well, no really long hallways with elevators at each end of the resort. The bridge to CR where the Contempt Cafe, market and shops are located is on the 5th floor at BLT. If you don't want to deal with elevators (they are usually very quick to arrive) you can ask for one on that floor.

If you are on the first floor it is an easy walk over to CR and then you can take the elevator up to the concourse level (4 floor at CR).

We had a family gathering at BLT in 2013 with 10 children under age 3. The families didn't have any problems with hallways, and two of the families were at the far end of the resort. One family brought a double wide stroller (for runners) for their twins and never had any problems using it inside BLT.
