Allears indicates on their information page that Bay Lake has wireless internet. I can't find anything else to corroborate. Is there wifi or just wired pay service. Thanks.

Yes, free wifi has been installed at all DVC & Deluxe resorts, some moderates. Reports on speed have been mixed.

I had no problem connecting to the WiFi using my iPad when we stayed at BLT this past Christmas. While not blazing fast, by any means, the speed was adequate for what I needed to do.

Yes, those posts are outdated. No router required. Have a good trip!

A router may not be required, but it will add security and still give you a wireless connection in the room.

Members staying on a reservation made thru MS (points or cash) do not pay the daily fee for wired internet. Reports are that the wired access is going to be removed.

Put me down as one that had terrible experience with the Wifi at BLT. I ended up giving up and turned it off and just used my AT&T data connection.

We were at BLT a week ago and had no problems with the wifi.
