BLT - Where should I ask to stay?

We are staying in a lake view at BLT. What should I specifically request on our room reservation so that we can see the MK fireworks?

I don't think you can see the MK fireworks from a lake view. But we were on the 5th floor same floor as the walkway, I would definitely request that again.

Did that make it a lot easier to get over to the Contemporary? Was it easier than waiting for an elevator (we will have a stroller)?

Even numbered room on the north side will get you a MK/fireworks view off to the left of your balcony. Being up as high as possible doesn't hurt either.

Yes very easy. I would definitely request it again.

Some LV rooms (and standard view) offer a view of EPCOT fireworks and the nightly water light parade.

We watched the water parade twice

I guess some of the lake view rooms on the other side could see some fireworks. We were looking towards WL away from MK so couldn't see anything.

Our Lake View at BLT was in the center overlooking the pool area. We saw the Water Pageant Parade each night from our balcony and enjoyed the view very much.

When we wanted to see the MK fireworks, we would either go up to Top of the World or once we had a nice view on the walk way. So I think almost any view at BLT has its advantages, and if not you can catch the view you want by just heading to the right spot!

My sister was in 8008 and said she could see the castle
