BLT w ECV

We are looking to rent an ECV for my mom on our trip. We are staying at a 2 bedroom villa at BLT. Is it easy to maneuver thru the halls and elevators? Will there be enough space in a 2 bedroom to park the scooter? Thanks!

There is sufficient space in a Value Resort to park an ECV. A DVC 2 Br Villa is huge!

You should have no problem at the BLT. And it's really easy to get the MK from there via the walkway.

Yep, you will be fine. We use a large scooter and have no issues in the hallways or elevators. We stay in a studio and that is tight be we still have enough room to park it just inside the door.

We just were at BLT in September and there were ECV's everywhere. The villas are huge and there is room right inside the door to park one. But there were several parked out in the hallway overnight. Not sure if that is allowed by staff but it must be b/c we saw it nightly. The people across the hall from us parked two ECV's outside their door and the people right next to us parked one outside.

I agree with the others who say you shouldn't have any problem charging in the BLT 2BR.

While WDW doesn't seem to keep people from charging ECVs in the hallway, it's not something I would ever recommend. You don't know who might come by and accidentally unplug the ECV or if kids might play on it (yes, there are parents who either don't notice or don't care if their kids play on someone else's unattended ECV). I don't know how wide the hallways are at BLT specifically, but it also can really cause a problem with using the hallways. Most hotels/resorts I've been to the hallways aren't wide enough to really safely have multiple ECVs charging in case the building does have to be evacuated. For people staying places with outdoor hallways, there's also the concern of protecting the ECV from the weather (yes, there are people who try to charge their ECVs in outdoor hallways at their resorts).
