BLT/VWL Room location questions

Only way to get 12/26-1/2 trip complete:

Advice on Best Room locations
for 12/26-12/30 start at 1 br theme park vw and end w/1 br lake vw
for 12/31-1/2 Studio lake view (waitlisted) or VWL 1 Bedroom

AND

12/31 strategy...be in the parks no later than 3pm?

For the BLT Lake View rooms, if you request an Even Numbered room on the North End of the Tower you could end up with a view of the Magic Kingdom.

We did even number north tower and had a great side view of wishes in room 8108 I believe was the number.
