BLT view question

Here's one for all you new excited owners-

Looking at an arial view of BLT, it looks like some rooms would face in toward the center of the building, the ones at the ends of the 'C'.

What if I wanted a room that faces Wilderness Lodge and is on the outside of the building, what category is that? It doesn't have a MK view.

What about a room that looks toward the center of the building and doesn't have any view?

Some rooms don't look like they would face MK or the lake, what then?

Thanks for the help. We want to stay there next year.

I think rooms facing WL would have to be lake view, you would have to see the lake to also see WL.

What I would like to know is what is exactly standard view? Rooms on the lower floors on the MK side that you can't actually see MK but only trees?

no - think the standard views are only CR view and parking lot (that does not have any MK views)

now you might be able to see WL from standard view - just depends upon when lake view stops and standard view begans.

everything in the inside of C is lake view (pretty sure).

any and all the rooms facing (or even partial facing) the MK - will be consider a mk view.

remember BLT is further down - you will get a MK view even from the first floor - it just won't be a nice one.

When I looked at the layout and count it looked like 1st and some 2nd floor and maybe a few which are blocked at lower levels by the contemporary.

the MK is on BLT side - not CR? So don't understand what you are saying.

It is to the side of CR - not directly behind it. even then - CR would not block MK views.

So the standard view are likely of the CR and parking? would those be the ones near the bridge?

I'm trying to picture the resort....I'm anxious to see what rooms will be what view. First floor facing MK would still be a pretty bad view I would think. I'll look at a map maybe and try to figure it out.:goodvibes

There is an island just south of the south wing of the CR that may block views of WL from BLT.

Some of what would be lake view on the lower floors are really near CR (to the south side of the elevated walk) so view will be much more limited of the lakes. By my count most will be on the 1st and 2nd floor.

If you really want to see WL you will want to be on an upper floor, outer side on the south side. We were on the 7th floor of WL and I could see CR and BLT clearly.

I am curious as well. I don't want to be paying the hefty MK view premium and not get a good look. I would be upset, I am not looking foward to hearing from the first family this happens to. Do you think they would start at maybe the 3rd floor? Any comments?

to the poster that said they would prefer to NOT pay points for the MK view and get something not so good... I hope they have taken this all into account and have carefully selected the category rooms

Discovery island - forgot about it.

but still think higher views would see the WL - of course then since the higher views might be consider lake views - since hey you get a piece of the lake...:rotfl2:

well they are only 20% (or less) that is not alot of BLT.

yes (okay that is my guess). but the higher floors will see the lake or 7 seas lagoon - so those will probably be lake views.

does anyone think Disney might move over slightly EWP so the lake views could see it all?

You can just see BLT from the dock at WL. Here are some views of BLT from Bay Lake.

I kept thinking lake views would be Bay Lake. I completely forgot about the lagoon!:rotfl2: I'm not a big "view" person, and I'll take standard or whatever. We bought so we could have the advantage to book early to get standard if possible.:)

I can't wait to hear about the lounge on top! What is it, Top of the World?
