BLT two bedroom at 7 months in early December?

We have a trip booked in early December and are thinking about switching to BLT. We haven’t stayed there in years. What are the chances of a 2 bedroom being open during that time? Our dates are Dec. 4-9. Thanks!

Not very good. Your dates aren't even open now.

I think SWGE is heavily impacting December reservations this year, which is a very popular time for DVC members on its own.

Wouldn't hurt to try (waitlist) when you can, though. Good luck!

I also doubt any open as other members switch. They would need units to switch into and availability is terrible.

Thank you! Oh yes, I know I won’t have a chance until May. I have the date on the calendar! We are taking two DVC trips in the same year for the first time and the family suggested trying BLT for one. Our home resort is BCV so that would be a great place to be if SWGE is open in December but we’d like to go again in the spring and with the 2020 point charts it makes much more sense to try and stay at BCV then. I have very little experience with the wait list though so I was wondering if anyone else has been able to switch in early December.
