I'm considering trying to tour BLT on our April trip. Should I just ask the DVC rep at WL? We have a lot of stuff planned, but could probably work it in on our first day, since we weren't planning on going to a park? The fast passes would be nice, but really...I just want to see what the places look like, since I'm thinking about buying in the next 12 months. I do NOT want to get into a situation where we spend 4 hours in high pressure sales he**, though.
Thoughts? Is it possible to tour later in the day? We won't be on property until 12:30 or so our first day.
The tour wdrl is referring to was for current DVC members interested in an add on or just curious about BLT. However, they do tours of BLT for new buyers as well. Our SIS just did a tour at the models at SSR last December. She had the option of going to BLT to see actual rooms. The ASA cast members do not do high pressure sales. They did give comments as to why you should buy but we did not feel pressured what so ever. When we met with a guide at the end he just asked if we had any questions and left it that. He confirmed that our regular guide would get credit if we purchased an add on. I believe the two guides actually share the commission. Regular tours are given throughout the day. We saw a DVC rep. manning the booth in the BLT lobby morning and afternoon. Definitely check with your DVC rep at WL, they will set you up for a tour at your convenience, they will pick you up and deliver you back to where you want to be as well.
