Ella's mom, congrats on your purchase. I think our contracts went to ROFR the same week. Unfortunately our closing company has been a bit slow and I've had to call to nudge them along. I'm certainly glad to hear that it is taking less than 14 days. Thanks for the info!!!!

Does anyone have an idea of how many call-taker CMs (or phone lines) they have working for DVC? I'd presume that they will call in all able-bodies on Sunday morning.

Just curious about how long we'll all be on hold...

well when asked before BLT was announced too - the MS told me regular staff.

so with BLT and SSR (TH) both - don't know if they will add more personel or not - might be too late - considering that staffing is generally done more than a week in advance - okay some places don't.

I was thinking the same thing. . especially since that is the same day we SSR folks can book the treehouse villas for the first time! I am excited for the BLT owners but to be hones I am a little stressed about competing with you all for a phone line on the 8th as well!!

I told DH to be prepared that I will have the phone attatched to my ear on hold for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time on Sunday !! I'm really not looking forward to the hold time...this will be my FIRST time using our DVC points to book a room. (called 2 weeks ago to use our developer points but that isn't the "real" thing). I AM excited that we get to call this weekend and not have to wait until March 1st!!!

Thanks Spicey! I took video of the BLT today and have more photos that show room interiors (my new camera is amazing, with the 20x optical zoom and 80x not optical). I actually just got home and need to get the photos and video onto the computer. I stayed until just after dark to get some better room interiors, like Robin suggested.

My site hopefully will be working properly in the next couple of days (hopefully!) It is up, but I haven't been able to add anything to it in two weeks. I was at the AKL too today.

I have two videos also, and photos showing more of the interior of the rooms from the outside (same site, you have to go to the main page). And there are lights on in the AKV lobby.
