Hi There,

We have booked a Theme Park View Deluxe Studio at Bay Lake Towers. Are all of these rooms good views of the Magic Kingdom? Can Fireworks be seen by all Theme Park Viewed rooms?

Thanks,
The Dalys

Higher floors are better, but, yes, you can see the fireworks from all theme park view rooms.

There are more direct MK views than others. The xx28 studios require you to perch on the sofa arm or sit on the balcony to see all the fireworks which isn't the end of the work but the xx18 will be direct views.

IMO the TP views are poor. Originally the view was labeled Magic Kingdom View but you can't really see the MK so Disney changed it to Theme Park View. You will see the fireworks but you don't really see inside the park. The roof of Space Mountain, Castle small and in the distance, the BLT parking lot.

Make a request for high floor and pray that you get it. TP views start on floor five. The view from those rooms sucks as it is mostly just "parking lot" view. The sixth floor is not much better, seven is somewhat passable and you really need eight or above to avoid feeling you have been ripped off by the large number of points required for TP view.

You can request a higher floor when you do on-line check-in. I have been in a variety of Theme Park view rooms and they have all be wonderful. I do not think I have been below floor 7, though. I don't know why people think you should be able to see "into" the park. Even from Top of the World lounge, you really can't see things like people walking up and down main street. If you have enough points, go for it, at least once, in my opinion. We do theme park view most of the time; but when we are low on points, we will do lake view. Some lake views will also give you a view of MK.....but even if you do that and request certain rooms, there is no guarantee that you will get those rooms.

I never tire of sitting on the balcony, watching the monorail go by, hearing the ferry whistle, seeing the Walt Disney World railroad train going around the corner, watching the comings and goings of CM's rushing from the parking lot to work at the Contemporary. And nothing beats being able to sit on the balcony, in your pj's, adult beverage in hand, watching the fireworks. Especially if you are there during Halloween, as the ones the nights of the parties are spectacular.

Friendly correction: it's Bay Lake Tower, not Towers.

I think all TP views are of similar quality. A higher floor room will give you a view of more of the area (monorails around the lagoon, boats from TTC, rides in MK), but you will also get more of a view of the parking lot. Lower floors, you get mainly a view of Space Mountain and the Castle, but also less of a direct view of the parking lot.

Everyone who makes a request will request higher floor I guess, so I say just wing it and enjoy whatever you get!
