BLT Theme Park View Worry

We own at BLT and have always stayed in a standard room. For our upcoming November trip, we splurged with with our points for a Theme Park View, as this will be the last time with our WHOLE family for quite some time. We always arrive on a Friday and stay 8 nights. I have often wondered if the day one arrives lessens or improves the odds of getting a more desirable room within your category. I guess I am worried about a not so good view within our category. We are staying in a two bedroom dedicated. Should I be worried about a not so good view due to our arrival day?

I don't think so - not since they've reclassified quite a few TPV rooms to standard view. You should be fine.

Take a look at the thread by work2play to see the options for dedicated 2 bedroom villas in the TPV category. I would think any of them would give you a nice view of the MK.

P.S. For DVC, I actually think a Friday arrival is a great day to arrive (followed by Saturday, & then Sunday) - lots of members check out on Fridays to avoid the higher points for weekend nights. That means there will be lots of rooms available for assignment.

I've stayed in a TPV twice in a studio...and I got the same room twice...too funny, great view 11th floor closer to the TP than Contemporary....although there are only 16 TPV studios, so perhaps those odds are great.
