BLT Standard View?

Those rooms "under" the skybridge may be the only clunkers. On our tour in July the CM said the reason the skybridge is "glassed in" for one lengthy section (with frosty glass you can not see through) is to hide the trash processing area below... and all I could think was "what about the ROOMS that look at it?" In fact those rooms may be far enough back and behind enough landscaping that you will NOT look right at that area... But if you get assigned to an "outward facing" room on the curve that faces the skybridge and the Contemp Tower, you will be looking down not only on skybridge but also on the trash/truck area. Perhaps all those rooms -- even higher up -- are standard. These may truly be the only crummy standard view rooms.

Any idea on how us Dissers can request the best possible standard view (i.e., no trash processing area and view of MK and/or lake)? Should we just state that on our request?

It appears that standard view is all over the place from views of MK, shuffleboard courts, fountain, lake and trash dumpsters.

I mean ... of course all of us on here want MK and not trash dumpsters ... but as PP said, someone is going to get the bad views and others won't.

So how do we limit the odds of getting a bad view?

(I realize that a request is just a request and the only way to guarantee a lake or MK view is to spend the additional points!)

When I booked a standard view room last week I asked MS pretty much the same question and they told me to request a view of the castle. I figure the odds of getting a room w/ that view are pretty slight but it can't hurt to ask.
