BLT room requests

Hi All, we bought a resale contract a few months ago at boulder ridge and just booked our first DVC stay. At 7 month window we noticed there was availability for a 2 bedroom Theme Park View at BLT so we snatched it up. Does anyone have any recommendations for room requests to make our stay more magical?

Any Suggestions would be appreciated seeing as we've never stayed in BLT before.

Hi!! We typically use Touringplans.com to check out the hotel room views by category and send our room requests that way also!
Taking a quick glance, DEFINITELY go for a high floor (floor 12 appears to be the highest floor w 2BR theme park views). The lower you get, it’s almost more of a parking lot view!

Higher is better. I'd say at least 10th floor or better. Maybe more North than South. We've always been pretty close to center, 10th or 12th floor, and the view is pretty impressive.

Request high floor as lead request. The lower floor BLT theme park rooms (6 and below) are a points rip-off because their main view is of a large parking lot and the back of a monorail track, which rooms should have been classified as lower-points standard view.

In May we were in 7720. I requested a high floor as our only request via member services and we got 7th floor. Unable to make any requests via online checkin for BLT . All was good though. View was perfect for us (it was also our first time at BLT so nothing to compare it to.
