BLT Room Request/Std 1BR

Staying at BLT in December in a Std 1 BR. Any suggestions on a room request for this room category? We are thinking of requesting the 1st floor so we can walk out to the pool, unless there is an exceptional room with a great view or otherwise superior. Thanks! Looking forward to the trip.

If you want a fireworks view, I would request Floor 2 rooms 7212, 7220 or 7226; or Floor 3 rooms 7312, 7320 or 7326.

We did a girls trip in a standard one bedroom last month and it was great! We were first floor right off the lobby and elevator bank so the one bedroom on the walking path to the pool. It was nice not to need an elevator all the time. To be honest, I fretted over the "best" standard view for months and once we checked in around noon I asked for the first available and we received our room text an hour later. The only negative about that room is we had the worst time with cell phone reception.

P.S. Why did no one ever say there is a soft serve ice cream machine at the Contempo quick service??? I loved getting a chocolate/vanilla swirl each evening! Yum!
