BLT Questions...

We're considering an add-on at BLT, but have a few questions (we originally bought re-sale, so this is new territory):

- Use Year: Can we simply have them match our existing contract?

- When Do We Get Points: If we purchased this week but wanted a March use year, do we have to wait until March 2009 to get points, or do they give us '08 points now? If so, I would guess that dues are payable also, when closing.

- Closing Costs: Just to confirm, unlike resale, there are none for add-ons?

- Incentives: Are there incentives for less than 100 points? We're considering about 75 points...

- Additional Costs: Anything I'm missing here?

Add-ons direct from Disney will have the same UY.

No 2008 points for BLT. Reservations scheduled to begin on 3/1/09 for stays on 9/1/09 or later.

Not currently. No indication if there will be.

Other than MF that begin on 9/1, no.

All add-ons will have the same Use Year as the contract the new points will be added to. If you want a different Use Year than you already own the minimum purchase is 160 points and would not be an add-on (it would be a separate membership).

Since BLT is not yet open, the earliest you would get points will be your 2009 Use Year - but those points could not be used prior to September 1, 2009 when BLT opens. (If you have an October or December Use Year, your dues would prorated based on those dates.)

Dues will be based on the later of September 1, 2009 or your Use Year and prorated for 2009 based on that date.

No closing costs for add-ons.

Currently, the only BLT incentives begin with a purchase of 100 points or more. For less than 100 the cost is $112 for BLT.

No additional costs unless you plan to finance - minimum purhcase for DVC financing is 50 points.
