BLT question

Tomorrow is my 7 month window for booking BLT.

This will be a graduation (high school) trip for my youngest. I am calling to book a MK view studio but willing to book a lake view and waitlist for MK view.

If I end up getting a lake view - I am hoping for one of the lakeview rooms where you can see both the lake and MK. So if I request - high floor, north end of the building is that correct? Do I ask for odd or even numbered room?

Cross your fingers for me - it would mean so much to DD if I was able to get the MK view but she would also be happy with a lake/MK view.

You would want an even #'d room. With putting in 3 requests, I would list them in the order that is most important as the more you have, the harder it is.

For example, we were hoping for one of these rooms last summer and simply requested even #d room. We knew that gave us a good chance to get it.

We did end up even #d room, northern end, but only on the 6th floor. However, we were really happy with that.

You can get a decent view of fireworks in an elevator lobby on an upper floor if you don't get a MK view. TOTWL has a great view.

for mk view - high as possible above 8th floor

for lv - even number, north side, high as possible.

Just got off the phone with MS. I was able to book 4 nights MK view at BLT (studio) which is exactly what we wanted. I am waitlisted for the 5th night. If it comes through - fantastic.. if it doesn't we just switch over to our home resort VWL a night early (which is fine with me).

I know DD would really love that 5th night so everyone cross your fingers for her.

BTW - anyone calling MS in the future. Ya might want to make sure you dial the phone number VERY CAREFULLY I hadn't even had my first sip of coffee when I called and ended up calling an adult male "interesting lifestyle" hotline.

Since I hadn't even had my coffee yet, it took me a few seconds for it to register.. "this is NOT Disney". Needless to say - I hung up fast and redialed. Correctly the second time.

to get a good view of the MK you need to be above the monrail - so unless your room number is 78-- or above - (add 70 to floor number) - ask for another room at the front desk. found with BLT it works better to get their early and to check in at the front desk. Using the online system you get the first room that is ready.
