...about the villas on the Bay Lake side that will sort of be facing each other.

Not much of a view, imho...and not much privacy, either.

Gotta agree with you here. It looks like lots of balconies will have direct views of lots of other balconies on the inside of the "C". The MK views will be magnificent. The building just strikes me as being a very cold monolith of concrete and metal. Kind of scary looking and imposing (like the Tower of Terror).

imo, based on this shot (thanks to the OP ); the interior facing units will have a view of bay lake...just not a direct one

ive stayed in sim bldgs @ beach before (albiet more of a U shape before) and was happy w/OF view

assume the point structure will be lower to offset the non-MK view also...will work for those who just want to be in close walking distance to MK as opposed to the view...something for everybody

I am not able to see these photos. When using Firefox, there is just a big blank. With IE, I get little boxes with red "X"s in them....

Any ideas?

All the more reason to own there and reserve MK view at 11 months.

That said, we stayed at FT Meyers beach and had the "ocean view", which meant you walk out on your balcony and look left (or right). It wasn't bad actually.

Eek! This is killing me! Dh and I are determined not to buy until BLT is announced and we see what kind of deal (hopefully) they are offering since this is where I'd really like to own. In fact, I'm sure I saw the 1st room we'll be staying at in a couple of those pics! I'm just getting so eager to join up and the wait is really getting to me!!!

I agree about the privacy part. I wish the "C" faced the other way. Those facing Bay Lake would have privacy and a great view IMO. It would have been our choice every time.

Great pictures, Liz. We rented a pontoon back in May and had a great end to our short Polynesian stay. I took some BLT shots too but never got around to posting them. There's been so much progress since then.

I can't believe the progress they've made since we were there in April! We went out on the balcony at California Grill and checked out the construction over Easter break.

I haven't followed much of the story regarding the upcoming villas. Will the building be attached to the Contemporary floor with the monorail??

This is very interesting.....I may need to start saving up for more points!!
