BLT or BCV?

since learning about the BLT i have been considering purchasing a new add on contract for the BLT and selling our existing one at the BCV.

i look at the location, increase contract years by 15 and the fact that getting in a reservation would almost certainly be booked at the 11 month window.

i lose out on the location from epcot and SAB.

not sure what the difference in MF are and the size of the rooms.

has anyone else had this same idea?

what do others think?

I own at the BWV and I'm just adding on. You could do a small add on and borrow and Bank to stay at the BLT every 3rd year. Or you could try to book at the 7 month window. I plan to do split stays.

The location of BCV is just as awesome iMHO!! Buy purchasing a small add on you get the BEST of Both worlds.

The MF at BLT will be $3.69. The MF at the Bwv are $5.04 so the savings on MF makes the higher point value at the BLT actually come out cheaper than the BW for my family (due to the fact we bought the BWV in 2005 when the BWV only had 38 years left). But since I just LOVE the BWV I will NOT sell those points. I'm going to like owning at 2 different resorts just for the convenience of the location of each!!

No way will I sell my BCV now. BCV has kept (increased, depending on when you bought in) its value more than any of the other resorts, but the resale market is down right now. I would wait a little while.

I am thinking about adding on at BLT, but not until I can afford it in addition.

For us it was add more BCV points or do an add-on at AKV or BLT. So glad we waited, very excited about BLT. We are doing a BLT add-on even bigger than our current BCV contract. No way we would sell BCV at this time though.

We own BCV and will not sell. We are going to do an add-on at BLT. We are excited to own at both resorts.

We own at VWL and BCV and will not sell or add on. We love our resorts, have enough pts to go once or twice a year so we are very happy. I could never think of selling.

PICK ME PICK ME..... LOL I will take those precious BCV points.

We loved loved our stay at BCV in July. Good Luck with that decision.

Though I said I wouldn't sell my BCV now, I should say that one of the appeals of BLT (and AKV) is that most of the units are larger -- 1BR sleeps 5 and 2BR sleeps 9. This is great for us, since we are a family of 5.

Also, as of right now, the MF are significantly (about $1) lower for BLT.
