We have a 1 BR villa reserved at BLT through Disney, not on points. I have a few questions...
  • How will mousekeeping work? Daily?
  • What comes in the kitchen? I know plates, etc. but what about knives for cutting fruit, etc.?
  • Does anyone have pictures of a wheelchair accessible unit, with roll-in shower?

Thanks in advance!!

If you are paying cash, you will get daily mousekeeping. I have not stayed in the 1 bedroom yet so I can't answer the rest of your questions.

Have a great time. We are staying there on our points in early August!

Housekeeping will depend on who the room was booked thru. If booked by MS for cash, housekeeping will be the same as if booked on points. Only cash rooms booked by Disney Central Reservations will get daily housekeeping.

You get mousekeeping on the 4th day of your stay.

There are plates, some bowls, plenty of silverware and cooking utensils. I didn't cook when I was there, so I can't give you an exact inventory.

From Disney's site...

One king-size bed and bathroom with whirlpool tub
Additional bathroom in living area
1 queen-size sleeper sofa and 1 sleeper chair in the living room
Flat-panel TV with Disney programming in living room and master bedroom
DVD player in living room
Table and chairs
Coffeemaker
Hairdryer
High-speed Internet access (additional fee)
Iron, ironing board
Pack 'n Play playard
Refrigerator
Dishwasher
Dinnerware, glassware and flatware
Pots and pans
Microwave
Toaster
Stove
Laundry area with stacked washer and dryer
High Chair
Vacuum cleaner
Private porch or balcony
Safe
Voice mail
Data port

don't think even seem pictures of the handicapped units.

wonder if those are ones without the whirlpool tub?

Check out this thread by work2play. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2257082

There are photos of many different villas including handicapped villas. I know there were comments that in a regular HA room (not a wheelchair HA room with a roll in shower) the 1BR there were two bath tubs in the MBR, one handicapped regular tub and the jacuzzi one and no separate shower. The MBR bed was lower to the ground for easier movement from wheelchair to bed. Work2play has listed the villa numbers with views on the first page. Perhaps she labels the handicapped ones.

If the villa was booked using cash, not points, housekeeping is daily. Only point stays have the limited housekeeping.

Great list, btw!

I think that actually depends if it was booked through MS or CRO. MS just like points. CRO daily.
