Just checked in. Room wasn’t ready until 5:00. Worst lake view studio possible. (Ends in 14) Wi-Fi signal is poor….can’t wait until 7am. No Verizon signal.
But…I’m in WDW. So I’ll stop complaining.

You may have the service areas in your view but you'll also see the fireworks at night.
Not certain what is up with your Verizon. I've not had an issue there and have been in a room just down the hall a couple of times. Was in an inner C room on the 5th floor in October and again, no issue with Verizon (or Wifi actually). 5-6PM is pretty common unfortunately for room ready. Not certain why that is there.
Hopefully things will start looking up.

Having a fireworks view is wonderful! BLT is the only resort where we experience WIFI issues (Verizon), but usually only on the higher floors and it is intermittent.

We had wifi issues last time we stayed at BLT too. We were given a number by the front desk to call. I think they had to reset something.

OK, so when I read this, I just had to go to see room views. I've never stayed at BLT, and thought of a lake view studio. Well, either the room view site is screwed up or something-no lake view studios ended in -14, and the ones that are didn't show any lake view.

According to Touring Plans, 7614 is a lake view studio. I had the connecting 1 bd 7612 a few weeks ago and it does have a lake view as well as a parking lot view, but I got some great fireworks pictures.

Are you referring to Touringplans for the views?
The xx14 are either in the standard or Lakeview category. I believe you do have to be out on the balcony and look to the right to see lakeview but in general at BLT I refer to lakeview as the category that is between standard view and theme park view vs meaning a direct view of any lake. Many of them are the HA studios. They did a different thing there too with the HA rooms. None in the TPV category and I don't think any that technically fall in standard view (maybe FL special). But they have views towards the MK so in general are a TPV.

BLT badly needs a refurb. I stayed there for 8 nights in a 1 bedroom in October. Location can’t be be beat, but the bed felt pretty old/uncomfortable.

Same: we enjoy the location but not the bed or pullout sofa. But I still booked us there for July because I figure it will be convenient to watch the fireworks on July 3rd or 4th from there.

Yes. Nothing they could do. They had me call the internet team who also said nothing they could do.
All worked out in the long run!

We were there over Thanksgiving and were in XX23. The Internet was awful as well.

Unfortunately they have themselves covered for the check in time since they state check in time is "after 4:00pm". As for the poor Wi-Fi, they need to fix that and hopefully they will do something during the refurb.

I really don't get the 'after 4p' check-in. BLT has no late check out and most vacationers are out of their rooms well before 11a, as housekeeping is always knocking on the door (our experience). Seems like housekeeping management has a hard time checking the rooms to get them online for check-in. Every time we've checked the rooms are just waiting for final walk thru.

745 am at copper creek last month.

I told he 11 in my underwear and she wanted argue….. I get it, that they only have a few hours to turn the room over, but some of us like to spend the day and leave the room at 10:55

Yes, that's where I went. Something is messed up somewhere. It shows me a bunch of lakeview villas on the XX30 side, but only about 3 on the other side (all single digits).
