I own at BLT

curious as to what is considered a lake view?

Is it if you can see any part of the lake from your room or is it balcony?

If you can only see the dock is it a lake view?

or is it if you are the balcony and lean over and can see the lake ?

In 2019 we had a lake view, it was wonderful. If it had been just DH and I, we would have spent a few hours just staring at the boats going back and forth. But alas, grandkids prefer rides over boat watching.

In April, we had a lake view (on the inside of the C). If you look past the courtyard, past the pool, hold your head juuussssttt right, you can see the lake (if the trees aren't swaying too much.

Thanks - is there a link to this as its not the best resolution?

I got curious too (trying to pick up BLT on resale) and found this.

"Lakeview" is more or less the category that isn't standard view and isn't theme park view. It's the middle catch all but you should be able to see water from most or all. It might be 7 Seas across the way, it might be Bay lake way off to the left or right or it might be a head on view of Bay Lake and the pool in the foreground.

Our lake view was obscured by a tree. I'm sure when the resort opened it was full lake view but the tree had grown since then. It was a bit disappointing.

More likely, it's a lake view if it is above the 5th floor and not facing the MK.

If you're lucky enough to get an inside room that faces east directly out onto the water, be sure to check the Kennedy Space Center schedule. We saw a night launch from our balcony (10th floor) and it was AWESOME!
