BLT January Deed Stats

My assumption is 3d Party means resales, which means the total number of resale contracts shown in the chart would be the combination of of 3d party and ROFR

This is fantastic work and obviously something that takes a lot of work. I hope you realize you have now created high expectations for our seeing this every month.

One question I have is over the maximum price shown for a direct sale as $182. I would think that is not possible since Disney's price is set at $180.

Isn't BLT, BWV, BLT direct set at $185 per point? (I care because I'm planning to add on direct)

How does one extract pricing data from the deed? Is it reflected in the amount of doc tax?
Thanks

That's how I figured out how much our sellers had paid per point for their contracts - I think it's $0.70 per $100 of purchase price or something.

BLT is $185 now, it was $180 earlier this year for the period of time shown in JHank44's report. BWV is currently $165.

I did my direct purchase today. It is $185 pp. (Easy peasy btw). I bought and paid over the phone this morning and my points showed up early this afternoon. Just have to sign the paperwork they sent and we'll be finished. I was already able to buy the Gold AP for our upcoming trips today too.

I'm not sure why it quoted you above and added my response to your quote. But it did. :)

Exactly. You back it out from the Doc tax.

Thanks! You have made a maniac of me :). I put together a basic spreadsheet and went to work following a few months of recent SSR data.I saw some interesting things and became fairly adept at searching the database, spotting a direct buy vs. resale, a ROFR vs. a sale etc. You put together a very detailed BLT data set and I can vouch for the time it must have taken. Great work.

If anyone might wish to do a bit of sleuthing for your own purchase decision, follow JHank44's link in post 6. Leave the Grantor field blank - If Disney is grantor it is direct sale, add the resort name as Jhank44 indicates and search. On the advanced tab you can also specify a Doc tax range to search and that can help you sort for a price range and point range you are interested in. For instance, if I searched SSR deeds with a doc tax between $80 and $225 I only saw deeds for 150 point or larger sales, notwithstanding a few outliers. It was a good study and yielded a lot of data in a relatively short amount of time.
