BLT is Doing the Single Digit Dance

Only five days until BLT opens. If only we had lots of money we'd be there even if we had to stay somewhere else. That way we could buy one of the new limited edition BLT for DVC members pins that go on sale on August 4th at Fantasia at the CR.

A copy of the pin is shown on my signature.

According to the Disney Pin site, there will only be 300 of these BLT pins available. The site also says that only DVC members can buy the pin and the member must show his or her membership card. I hope DVCers are not pin collectors, and that there will still be a few pins left when we visit in March 2010 (yeah, right).

OK so just to make everyone jealous, my guide is staying overnight TONIGHT at BLT (Saturday)!! I am so jealous!! I told him to buy a pin for me when they go on sale, yeah right..I can dream right?

We'll be there in early December. If there's any DVC BLT specific pins out then, we'll be on the lookout.

We are also going the 4th to 7th and cant wait. We tried for a MK View Studio but had to settle on the lake view, wait list never came in. We are taking an early flight on the 4th getting into orlando about 8:30am. Hopefully we can check in early and check the place out.

6am is the early check in for all resorts, I don't imagine it will be any different for BLT.

BLT is incredible! We're in villa 8220, it's a 1-bedroom villa MK view. We requested (and received) the highest possible floor, and northern facing.

The villa is perfect! Right as you walk in, you see the castle from those huge windows. Because it's still dark outside, the castle is still changing color. It's a beautiful aquamarine now. This villa is gorgeous, and the view is incredible.

Will write more later.

PS - from the bed in the master bedroom, you can see the castle perfectly. It's royal purple now. And I tried out the jacuzzi, and yes, you can see the castle from the tub.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I don't want to switch to GF tomorrow!

We arrived at CR at a little after 4am this morning... the security person at the gate asked us if we were for BLT and we were shocked when the security person said Gratz you are the first to arrive for check in. At the desk we were told the same thing... I figured we would maybe be among the first 50 or so, but to be the first DVC member checked in is kind of neat.

BLT is awesome...everything looks really nice. One thing that is kind of different is the amount of security points where you need your key card to go...so when you are here you probably need to always carry your key card, even to the pool.

Anyways there is a partial report anyways...
