BLT info

Will be venturing to BLT tomorrow for the first time (have stayed at BCV previously) and will be arriving via DME. I've gotten conflicting info for check-in and so wanted to clear things up. Are we suppose to check in at BLT or the Contemporary when arriving via DME? Also, doing a split stay, so when we check out, where do we drop our bags off so that they'll transport them to the next resort? Thanks for any and all help.

Before 8pm, I think all of the BLT checkin packets are at BLT.

And if you are having Bell Services transport your bags, then call or talk to Bell Services a few days in advance, and arrange a time for them to take your bags from your room.

If you arrive via ME, you will check-in at the Contemporary because that's where the bus drops you off. They will have your folder. If you need to check luggage, you do that at the Contemporary also at the valet desk outside. The contemporary workers handle luggage for both resorts. I was told when I stayed here in Dec. that BLT only has a baggage storage room and that BLT workers can't deliver bags to your room. Maybe in time WDW will put a full service bell service at BLT, but I don't know.

I'm at BLT now and the way the are handling bags hasn't changed. Once you check your bags, you can call Bell Services when you get to BLT and they will deliver your bags to you. Any bags that you put your yellow ME tag on will automatically be delivered to your room. Don't count on your room being ready when you arrive even if you do online check-in. I always have my carryon with me and am dressed for the park. I just check my bags and head out. They will text you when your room is ready.
