BLT in August 09?!

Have read some conflicting reports about the date that BLT is due to open.........does anyone know if they will be open in August 09? When do bookings open for non-owners?

Unless something changes, Sept 1, 2009. That's what our occupancy date is. BLT owners will be able to call March 1, 2009 to reserve stays beginning Sept 1, 2009. This is subject to change.

Thanks guys...............I think I must have got them mixed up in my head with the treehouses and thought they were ready for June!!!
Never mind, they will have to wait until the next trip!!!

We're in the same boat, we'll be there in August 09 so will have to wait until August 10 for our first visit

I think this next trip we'll just have to be content with trying to get into Kidani and the Beach Club...........it's a hard life!!!

you might - just don't count on it.

think AKV opened a little early - think all the dvc resorts have opened a little early.

so if you are thinking late August - well it might happen. just don't count on it happening.

AKV opened in July instead of Sept when is was scheduled to open. One thing to remember is that they converted existing hotel rooms at Jambo House. BLT is being built from the ground up. For BLT to open prior to Sept 1, 2009 for point stays, they will have to sell units with an ealier occupancy date.
