BLT Fireworks

Where is the best place to catch the fireworks from BLT?

Are there indoor viewing areas if its cold?

The walkway between BLT and the Contemporary is a great place. The music is piped in. Also, Top of the World Lounge (TOTWL) is great. Nowhere indoors unless you have a theme park view room as far as I know.

The 4th floor observation deck at the CR is also a pretty nice spot to catch the fireworks.

Can we access the TOTWL or the observation deck with us not having BLT as our DVC home resort? We are renting points. Thanks!

The observation deck you definitely can. It’s on the outside of the Contemporary and open to anyone. From BLT, just take the walkway connector and before you get to the door to the Contemporary you can turn right and the observation deck is right there. The monorail tracks are above you, see you can also see the monorails coming into the Contemporary as well.

I’ve never stayed at BLT, but from what O understand, as long as you are staying there you can get into TOTWL.

If you are not a member, you cannot access TOTWL. If you are a member staying on someone elses points, you might not be permitted up, but again, you might be. Have your member card with you.

It's a couple monorail stops away, but the beach at the Polynesian is great as well. It's a much more head on view.

The connector bridge between BLT and the Contemporary is actually a very good spot to see the Fireworks.

The Contemporary 4th floor observation deck is a designated smoking area, which is a huge turn off for me.

BLT's TOTWL is open to DVC members only, not renters, and not cash reservations. On 4 nights a year, it is further restricted to members staying on points at BLT.

The Poly Beach is quite nice, but you'll be looking over the trees. Same for the boat dock at Grand Floridian.
