BLT Dec 31 at 7 months.. possible?

Hi.. I am wondering what are the estimated chances of getting a 1 bedroom at BLT for Dec 31st at 7 months?

I am probably building an excuse for myself and buying BLT only for New Year's eve.. which could be a sign of add-on-itis.. LOL

We bought BLT specifically to stay there for July and December special fireworks days. Not having to go into a park to see them is priceless! Of course, DVC decided to have paid parties last year on July 4 and December 31. Still, we go July 3 and December 30. Really, the only times we use 11 months for BLT.

Note that if you are thinking you'll go up to TOTWL on 12-31, you may be disappointed. Last year they had a special ticketed party event there on 12-31, and regular BLT guests were not permitted to go up.

If you are doing this for the fireworks viewing keep in mind that the Magic Kingdom has extended fireworks early evening and NYE fireworks at midnight on the 30th of December. Last time I was at WDW for NYE on the 30th I did early evening fireworks at Magic Kingdom, hopped over to Epcot for Illuminations with the holiday tag, and then back to Magic Kingdom for the 12/30 NYE fireworks. One of the best nights I ever had !
