BLT - crib situation?

was told each unit has a Pack-n-Play but 25 month old's getting too big for that now. Called and was told by Contemporary front desk that if I wanted a full-sized crib that I'd have to request one at check-in which is also first come first serve. Arriving there next Wed 12/2.

1.) Anyone used this full-sized crib before? Is it flimsy or good?
2.) How hard was it to "get" - were they actually already promised to others and you were out of luck?

Could you put the child in a bed with bed rails?

I've seen them at other deluxe resorts - they were white metal cribs that looked fairly substantial.

But if you really have to have one, I would recommend renting one from one of the outside companies -- they will deliver it and set it up. I've seen people say good things about A Baby's Best Friend (think that's the name).

We were just at BLT and did not have any problem getting a crib. We asked at the front desk and house keeping brought one up. The cribs are fairly large white roll around cribs.

When we traveled with our 9 month old last march, we rented a few things like a booster seat and a baby tub and an exersaucer from the following website:

They rent cribs as well. If you are concerned you can rent a full sized crib for the week.
