BLT- Community Hall

Thoughts on Community Hall @ BLT ???

We tried BWV & AKV Kidani. How does it compare? Our favorite so far is BWV- bigger & more activities especially painting.

We've stopped in a few times at different times of the day to get a game or movie (did an activity a couple of times too) and it has never been very busy, even when they had a scheduled event.

More of a room than a hall, not very big and not very busy.

I hate to tell you, but it is our least favorite. It is a rather generic Community Hall. We still had a good time there, but it is small and not as project/kid friendly as others we have used.

Kidani is my favorite. BLT is stark and small.

I didn't even know where it was during our stay. Had plenty to do without it. What does one do in community hall?

Community Hall is a room for the kids (and kids at heart). They have a tv where you can watch movies, play video games such a wii, xbox and play station. Fooz ball table. Table for arts and crafts. You can also get movie rentals there to take to your room. Kids over 13 can stay there without a parent. Under 13 they need adult supervision even though there are CMs there.

And FYI, it was on the 1st floor, couple doors towards the CT from the lobby. You can also get to it from the outside.

My nephews, age 14 and 7 LOVED it! The CMs said the 7 year old could come with the 14 year old, so I didn't have to stay the entire time. They went there a lot for some down time, video game time, etc. They also had a pin trading board each night that my nephews enjoyed. I was able to sign for permission for the 14 yr old to check out movies, which they would do on our pool/rest days. They really enjoyed it, and want to stay at BLT the next trip so they can go again.
