BLT check in

We leave in 53 days for our first trip home at BLT! I'm planning on taking DME and was wondering if anyone knows if the bus stops at BLT or if it goes to the contemporary and lets us off there. I'm so excited about going for the holidays that I'm driving everyone crazy going over the details (not that any of you do that, I'm sure ). Thanks in advance for the help!

It stops at the Contemporary Resort, that is where check in is for BLT.

You have to check in at the Contemporary, so you will be let off there. You'll also be picked up at the Contemporary for your departure.

Plus, you can't get into the lobby of BLT without a room key so you probably wouldn't want to be dropped off at BLT anyway

All services are at the Contemporary. Front Desk, Bell, transportation, and food.

that key thing can be funny. on my trip a DVC van arrived with guests wanting to see the BLT and the driver and guide did not have a key.

We saw the same thing back in August. Uniformed Cast Members were at the Front Door trying to get in. They called someone on the phone that is next to the front door for access. After watching them for 10 minutes or so, I took pity on them and let them in.

I added on points at BLT on the member cruise 2008. I booked last minute for a trip to WDW the week of Oct 18th, and my only option was SSR so we stayed there. We did go check out BLT on our first day (couldn't wait) and it is BEAUTIFUL! Took a tour of the rooms as well as the grounds. You will love it! I'm not going "home" until May! The building and the grounds are just magnificent. The pool area is so inviting and the slide is all glass blocks in shades of blue. You have to use a key to get in and out of the building as well as the pool area. You may also use the facilities at the contemporary. The pool area there is also wonderful. Have fun!
