BLT Bathrooms?

With all the compaints about the lack of locks on the doors it could be as simple as adding some type of locking mechanism. I think it would be very hard to modify the placement of the sink but then again there may be a way. Haven't stayed there yet but have read all the threads about the doors and the lack of sink in the bathroom itself so those are the two that come to mind first. I wouldn't think they would need anything to change the shower heads that some people have been complaining about but then you never know these days.

I can't imagine that it is anything as big as rearranging the configuration of the kitchen and bathroom sinks in the studios. However, would they really need to file papers if they are just fixing the bathroom door gap?

Hmmmm....

The kitchenette is an easy fix, though expensive. You simply flip the sink and wall. Now, you probably can't change the plumbing between the floors, but you could snake it (using elbows) between floors and then have some type of soffit above to hide. Then, the sink could be in the same place for the most part with the wall being moved back to put the sink in the bathroom. To me, this seems unlikely though.

I also think this would make the kitchenette seem very small.

My guess is, pocket doors with locks. I think a swing door would have no place to go, but a pocket door would require wall reconstruction, so a permit likely needed.
