BLT add-on use year questions

Our guide told us that although we have a September use year, if we are adding on now (which we are, 2 50-point contracts) at BLT, our points will be September 2009, not September 2008 UY points. I thought I read here that when you add on, you get CURRENT use year points. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Our original contract is at BWV, but that shouldn't make a difference. I know BLT isn't available for checkin until Sept. 09 but I thought if we were giving them $$ now, we get points now, lol.

Since there won't be a BLT until Sept 2009, there aren't any 2008 points.

Thanks, I guess I was reading the "best time to add on" thread where it says to add on right before your UY expires to get the most out of MF's.
Wishful thinking, lol!

you should have gotten DP - developer points those will last until Oct 3, 2009 - so basically they are 2008 points.

but only if your brought a 100 points or more.

Yes, we are getting the DP's for use at SSR/DL or World Passport. I don't know why I was thinking we get 2008 points, just wishful thinking!

Hi Tracy, The following thread on this board today gives the info on what I think you were wondering about on getting 2008 UY points for add-on...it usually is the case when doing add-on (although not at BLT for your September 2008 UY ).
