BLT 1 Bedroom in Sept - book now at premium?

Would like to rent points for a 1-bedroom at BLT for a week in Sept (pref 9/16-9/23, but am flexible). Thinking of trying a lake view and hoping for a partial MK view, but would be fine with a standard view.

Should I go ahead and book now with the premium on points or can I wait until inside 7 months and save the $400? I know these are in high demand but are they sold out 7 months - 1 day?

FWIW, my opinion is that you could wait until the 7 month window opens. September (before F&W Festival opening weekend) is one of the slower booking times for DVC and 1 bedrooms fill more slowly than studios or 2 bedrooms. Good luck!

Also, if you are willing to pay for Lake or TPV, availability goes up. The lowest price room in any given category (Standard) is always first to go.

I think it comes down to how badly you want to stay at BLT. If you are set on BLT, and can find a home owner booking, pay the premium. If you are flexible or would be willing to stay elsewhere if it happened in the 7-month window you could not get a full stay at BLT, wait.

I agree. Since you are flexible with your dates, are not looking at the very end of Sept when F&W has started and are willing to book lakeview at BLT then you will likely be fine waiting to 7 months IMO.
