How many people blow or shovel there snow back on the street? I'll tell you I myself think it is so rude after the streets have been plowed, most of my neighbors do that and it gets me but the best was flollowing my son just now to get his truck, main roads all the snow that is dumped out there after seeing it was plowed. :(

DH just came in from snowblowing the over 12" that was in our double-width, 5-car-long driveway and not one flake of snow went into the street. He directs the chute onto our property.

Here, the plows come along quite often, so you'd be fighting a losing battle to keep blowing it back into the street :p

When I can't blow the snow into the yard, I take great care to direct it onto the narrow strip between the sidewalk and curb. I also pause when a car is passing, even though I'm not blowing into the street, just in case a gust of wind catches it.

I'd hate to reveal one of DH's secret revenges but, suffice it to say that some homeowners who do this, find the stuff back where it came from! but, all at the end of their driveway, after all, that's the street he's plowing. ;)
