After Le Cellier, we headed over to Mexicos Margarita Stand for drinks. I ordered a strawberry and Donald the fiesta margarita.
We then stopped by the kiosk between the Margarita Stand and Norway to get premium Mickey bars for the boys:
We very slowly made our way up to the Africa Coolpost, finishing our treats before visiting Norway and riding Maelstrom. We went through China on Monday and skipped it this time around. Once at the Africa Coolpost, the boys got slushes and Donald and I got Safari Ambers. We sat down at a nearby table to watch the Illuminations barges enter the lagoon.
I guess you can say that we took our time drinking around the world since we did some on Monday and some yesterday. We did skip drinks in Norway, Italy, and the Unites States, so I guess it wasnt a real world crawl. Its pretty good for me, though.
Coming back to my story
Our next stop was for those yummy Grand Marnier slushes! Yep, it was a repeat visit, theyre that good!
We stopped at the spot between France and England so the boys could harass the birds and Donald and I could sit down and enjoy our drinks. Afterwards, we hit the Rose & Crown Pub for Welsh Dragons.
We sat on a bench between England and Canada and listened to Off Kilter before a bit before heading to the Friendship boat dock to take us to our counter service dinner at the Tangierine Café.
By the time we got to Tangierine Café, me feet were pretty sore and I was pretty sore. Im kicking myself for buying new socks before the trip. My others are low cuts, and I was worried about my tennis shoes rubbing the back of my foot. Little did I know that my new socks are much thinner. Thank goodness for moleskin, but it did not alleviate my pain!
So
we slowly made our way off the boat ramp and up to the Café, placed our orders, then I hobbled over to an outdoor table with Mickey and Donald and Goofy brought our plates out. Mickey ordered a hamburger and we had to wait about 15 minutes for it. At least we can tell they make them fresh!
Goofy had a chicken wrap. He was still full from his soda, Mickey head, and lunch and wasnt able to finish it. But he did like it.
Donald and I had the lamb and chicken shawarma platters. I shared mine with Mickey while we were waiting for his hamburger to arrive. He liked both the lamb and the chicken, but hes not a fan of chilled couscous. Im not, either, but I ate it.
For dessert, we had the baklava. And Donald and I also had sangria, as shown in the platter pic.
